Lovers commit suicide in Greater Noida

A young couple working with NTPC as engineers allegedly committed suicide on Friday in Greater Noida. Police said Amandeep Kaur (28) and Vivek Sharma (28) committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan in separate houses of the same locality falling under Jaracha police station. The couple had been working together since 2010.

On Friday, around 10am, Amandeep was found hanging. She was taken to a city hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. Police said when Vivek came to know about Kaur’s death, he also hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room.
