Emergency services in medical university

Greater Noida Medical University is set to start emergency services from the first week of March. Dr A K Bhatta, director of the university, said that currently around 450 patients visit the university’s out-patient-department (OPD) every day. “We are planning to provide emergency services to patients from the first week of March,” he said.

According to officials, some of the visitors to the OPD are in need of emergency services. Till now, patients needing emergency services were sent to district hospital for treatment.
