Dipti puts trauma behind, may join work

Ghaziabad: Dipti Sarna, the Snapdeal employee who was kidnapped by a stalker, is trying to put the trauma behind her and get back to work. The 24-year-old has barely stepped out of home since she was released by her kidnapper on February 12, and had contemplated resignation because she had lost the confidence to travel on the same route. But with her kidnapper now behind bars, Dipti is recovering. Her parents are hopeful she will return to normal life soon.”Dipti is stable now.

She is on the path of recovering from the trauma she had suffered at the hands of her kidnappers. We hope she becomes completely normal within the next few days,” her father Narender Sarna said.Dipti’s abduction was meticulously plotted by Devender Kumar, a Sonipat resident who has 32 cases against him, three of them of murder. Devender (29) told police after his arrest on February 15 he had first seen Dipti at Rajiv Chowk Metro station in January 2015, had become obsessed with her and followed her everywhere for several months.
