The official deadline for the project was March 31.According to sources, preparations for the launch are in progress, though the venue is yet to be decided. “Work on the Manesar-Palwal stretch is almost complete.
We’re giving it the final touches. It will be fully functional before the inauguration,” informed a senior HSIIDC official.Sudhir Rajpal, MD, HSIIDC, said, “I have asked my team to finish the project by April 1.” TOI had earlier reported that the state government and industry body HSIIDC were pushing to open the Manesar-Palwal stretch of the expressway before the Happening Haryana investors’ summit. But the project met a roadblock because the last kilometre could not be completed because of a hill in the way of its alignment.
