#AAP leaders appreciate #LG for his public stand against BJP’s divisive politics

AAP leaders led by Delhi Convenor Dilip Pandey today went to meet the Lieutenant Governor Shri Najeeb Jung to appreciate his public stand against RSS-BJP’s divisive politics and to present him a bouquet of flowers. The Lieutenant Governor had said in a television interview that the debate over “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” was manufactured and people cannot be forced to chant Bharat Mata Ki jai.

AAP Delhi Convenor Dilip Pandey, party MLAs Sanjeev Jha, Amanatullah Khan, Manoj Kumar, Rajendra Gautam along with party leader Richa Pandey Mishra went to meet the LG at his secretariat today. Dilip Pandey told the press that irrespective of party’s differences with the Lieutenant Governor, party appreciates the courage with which he came out and criticized the divisive politics of the RSS and the BJP. Dilip Pandey said that the BJP and the RSS have unleashed it’s frontal organizations to create an atmosphere of fear and intolerance. In these circumstances, coming out and expressing his dissent against RSS-BJP’s politics of hatred is an act of unparalleled courage, especially for a person holding the office of Lieutenant Governor. It compelled us to appreciate his public stand.

Dilip Pandey said that when BJP president Amit Shah is issuing open threats and issuing certificates of patriotism, LG came out and said that every Indian has a right to refuse to bow down under pressure. What LG said in the television interview was a clear attack on RSS and BJP’s communal politics. Leader of the BJP and the RSS must introspect why a constitutional authority had to come out and criticize them.

Dilip Pandey also said that he hoped that the Union Government would introspect instead of acting agains Mr. Najeeb Jung and removing him as Delhi Lieutenant Governor. That would be like shooting the mocking bird.
