Teenage girl injured in acid attack in UP
Etah (UP), Apr 23 (PTI) A 16-year-old girl today received burn injuries when a youth threw acid on her near Jawaharlal Nehru Degree College, police said.
The girl was going for tuitions when the accused identified as Ajay threw acid on her, they said.
She was rushed to the district hospital where the doctors described her condition as stable, police said, adding the acid used in the attack was “not very strong”.
The accused has been arrested.
