DELHI TRAFFIC POLICE DATE: 17.05.2016 TRAFFIC ADVISORY.

The mortal remains of Late Nirankari Baba Sh. Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj would be kept for Darshan for the devotees for two days i.e. 16- 17.05.2016 (Monday & Tuesday) at Ground No. 8, Satsang Ground, Burari, Delhi.  It is expected that a large number of followers would reach Ground No. 8 (Satsang Ground) for Darshan on 16th & 17th and Ground No. 2, Burari for samagam on 18th. The movement of pedestrians on Burari Road, Shah Alam Bandh Road and Outer Ring Road during these days would be very high. The commuters are hereby advised to avoid Burari Road and Shah Alam Bandh Road during this period. Instead, they can take Road No. 51 to reach both Ring Road and Outer Ring Road. If the pedestrian movement on Outer Ring Road becomes very heavy, Buses, Trucks and other commercial vehicles would be diverted from Mukarba Chowk and Chandgi Ram Akhara towards Azadpur and Mall Road respectively.
The funeral procession of Late Nirankari Baba Sh. Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj would start at 8 AM on 18.05.2016 from Satsang Ground, Ground No. 8, Burari Road and will pass through Burari Chowk, Outer Ring Road, Dheerpur Village, Parmanand Colony, Kingsway Camp Chowk, Delhi University Metro Station, Mall Road, IP College, Chandgi Ram Akhaara, Ring Road, ISBT and reach Nigam Bodh Ghat at around 12 noon.  A large number of devotees are expected to join the funeral procession.
Commuters are hereby advised to avoid Mall Road from Azadpur terminal to IP College from 8 AM to 2 PM.  Similarly, the Outer Ring Road passing through Burari may be avoided and people desirous of going from Mukarba Chowk towards South Delhi may take Outer Ring Road towards Madhuban Chowk. They may also take G.T.K road from Mukarba Chowk towards Azadpur and then take right turn on ring road from Azadpur to go to their destination through Azadpur flyover and Britannia flyover.  Traffic going from South to North from Nizamuddin side may be required to be diverted to Trans Yamuna from Geeta Colony Bridge or Yamuna Bridge Vikas Marg or Nizamuddin Bridge as per need.  These vehicles may rejoin the Outer Ring Road (bypass road) from Wazirabad Bridge.  The diversions on ring road on either side of Nigam Bodh Ghat would be eased according to the position of the funeral procession.
Commuters are also advised to avoid Burai road from Kingway Camp chowk to Sant Nagar Burari. Instead, they may take road No. 51 to reach both Ring Road and Outer Ring Road.
Elaborate traffic arrangements will be made to minimize the inconvenience caused to commuters.
