Micromax launches Canvas Evok with 3GB RAM for Rs. 8,499

Mcromax announced on May 16, 2016 that its newest smartphone, the Canvas Evok would now be available for sale. The entry-level priced smartphone packs power as well as functionality, targeting young professionals in a digital age.

The Canvas Evok comes along with a 5.5” HD display screen with 16M colours, that is protected by Corning GorillaGlass 3. The edges of the phone are curved so it appears as though the whole device is made of glass, when viewing it from atop. The phone runs on a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 chipset that is backed with an Adreno 405 GPU for enhanced graphics at lower energy consumption. The phone sports 16GB of internal storage and comes along with a 3,000mAh battery for long usage cycles.
