6 persons arrested for running mini gun factory

Munger (Bihar), Sep 10 (PTI) Six persons were arrested today for illegally running a mini gun factory at Sirmatpur orchard in Bihar’s Munger district, police said.

Four pistols, a double barrel gun, 60 cartridges of automatic pistol, 12 cartridges of rifle and six cartridges of gun were recovered from their possession, said Superintendent of Police Ashish Bharti.

The arrested were identified as Mohammad Badruddin, Rahul Yadav, Sonu Yadav, Monu Yadav, Mohammad Javed and Mohammad Faiyaz, the SP said.

The police also recovered arms manufacturing equipment from the place, he said.
