 Gurugram: Newly launched Centre for Leadership, The NorthCap University is pleased to announce that admissions are open for the 2^nd batch of its flagship program – 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Leadership (with a focus on Technology and Digital Businesses).

The center was launched last year and the Founding Batch is composed of talented and experienced professionals looking to further their careers. Our first batch has tech entrepreneurs, customer service professionals, enthusiasts from the education, public relations and power sectors.

The program aims to deliver cutting edge, modern, and world-class management education tailored towards the fast moving, unpredictable world of digital businesses. One fourth of the core curriculum focuses on 21^st century career skills: Communication, Critical Thinking, and Leadership.

The curriculum includes two certifications by The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (Business Fundamentals and Business Analytics), delivered using a powerful blended approach which brings together lectures by some of the best faculty Wharton delivered on-line through videos, readings and assignments and in-class coaching and teaching by our facilitators to provide a unique experience and learning opportunity.

Faculty for the program possess not just stellar academic credentials but also practitioners’ perspective that comes from many years of work experience, thus ensuring cutting edge knowledge and application. This is combined with intensive professional mentorship delivered 1:1 by senior business leaders, certified course content from top global institutions like Wharton and Harvard, and industry connect via a CXO panel.

In addition to distinguished academic and practitioner faculty members, NCU has also constituted a CXO Board that serves as a real-time link between the classroom and industry. Members include Dhruv Shringi (Co-Founder & CEO Yatra Online Pvt. Ltd.), Pankaj Sahni (Chief Operating Officer at Medanta – The Medicity), Saurabh Srivastava (Co-Founder and Past Chairman, NASSCOM), Raman Roy, one the pioneers of the BPO industry in India, Mohinish Sinha (an HR professional with multi-domain experience), Achalesh Sharma (Senior HR Leader with 15+ years of building sustainable organisations), Biplob Banerjee (who has 20+ years of HR and CSR experience), Sandeep Kohli (National Director- HR at EY India), and Mohit Thukral, (Senior Vice President and Business Leader, Genpact).

Through visiting faculty, guest sessions, workshop and seminar facilitators, students have the opportunity to engage with thought leaders, business experts and entrepreneurs. At NCU, we pride ourselves on our faculty’s ability to not only teach management practice, but guide students on how to keep themselves ahead of the game, through their entire career.

Located in the business, technology and start-up hub of Gurugram, the Centre for Leadership combines classroom teaching from industry experts, exposure to thought leaders in the business-world, team-based experiential learning modules and 24*7 peer learning to create an impactful management education that will create dynamic leaders for rapidly changing business environments. A small cohort size further ensures sustained focus on imparting sophisticated soft and transferable skills to each learner.

First-round admissions for the PG Diploma in Management and Leadership beginning in August 2017 are open till 15^th December, 2016. The program is targeted at professionals and requires applicants to have a minimum of 2 years full-time work experience. We have designed a streamlined, straightforward application process. Aptitude Test scores (GMAT, MAT, CAT, GRE etc.) are optional.

•    Fees: Tuition fee: INR 7 lakhs | Residence fee: INR 2 lakhs. Need-based scholarships will be provided to deserving candidates. Loans will be available through our tie-up with banks.
