SSC CGL Tier II Re-Examination to be conducted on Jan 12-13, Official Notification at ssc.nic.in

Dec. 21, 2016: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in a recent notification has informed its decision to conduct re-examination for the SSC CGL Tier II Examination. The commission had conducted the examination from November 30 to December 2, 2016. As per the notification, the examination was organized across 57 cities and 356 venues. A total of 1,49,330 candidates appeared for the said examination. The official notification released on ssc.nic.in also suggests that the examination went well in 333 centers. For the remaining the SSC has decided to conduct a re-examination. Tentatively, the re-examination for SSC CGL Tier II Exam 2016 would be scheduled for Jan. 12 – Jan 13, 2017.

As per the notification released on December 21, the commission received various complaints from candidates who had written the examination. As per the details shared, the complaints varied from candidates suffering technical problems at some of the venues. These complaints received till December 9, 2016 were ‘objectively’ checked by the commission. The complaints were then verified from the Technical Service Provider as well. Furthermore, there were some untoward incidents. After reviewing the same on the cameras, the SSC has come to the conclusion to conduct re-examination for candidates who had appeared in the remaining 23 centers.
