 NEW DELHI, Dec. 31—Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee has requested the new Lt. Governor of Delhi, Shri Anil Baijal, to put the Shunglu Committee report on the public domain as the people of Delhi has every right to know the findings of the Shunglu Committee report. She said the committee has reportedly found discrepancies in 200 files accessed from the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi, and the new LG should act upon it. 

Talking to the media at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan, here today, Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee said though the Shunglu Committee had submitted its report  to previous Lt. Governor Dr Najeeb Jung on November 17th, 2016 and when he was about to release the report, Dr Jung had suddenly tendered his resignation. She hoped that Shri Baijal would probe the discrepancies in the 200 files reportedly found out by the Shunglu Committee. Senior leader Shri Chattar Singh was also present at the media briefing. 

Extending her best wishes to new LG Shri Anil Baijal on behalf of Delhi Congress, Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee hoped that the Delhi Government and the Lt. Governor would work in co-ordination and co-operation for the development and progress of Delhi. “After the kind of chaos that was witnessed in the last one year, it is hoped that the people of Delhi would not be held to ransom again”, she noted. 

Smt. Sharmistha Mukherjee said the Lt. Governor has a very major role to play in the administration of Delhi, and hoped that the coming months would witness the LG and the Delhi Government work in sync with each other, for the larger good of the people of Delhi.
