UPSC yesterday released the time table for the Combined Geo Scientist and Geologist Exam 2017. The exams would be conducted over three days starting from May 12. The detailed time table is provided below. Candidates can also check the time table on the official website of upsc.gov.in. Apart from the time table, a set of basic instructions have also been released on the website for the papers that candidates need to appear in.
The Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2017 would be conducted on May 12, 13 and 14 over two slots. The morning slot would be from 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon. The second slot would be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The Admit Cards for the examination would be released on the official website shortly. Candidates are also requested to go through the instruction given below the time table carefully.

Candidates who have applied for selection to the posts of Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist and Jr. Hydrogeologist will be required to appear in the common General English paper on 12th May, 2017. Also, Candidates appearing for Geologist, Geophysicist and Chemist will be required to appear for examination on 13th & 14th May, 2017. Candidates competing for selection for both the posts of Geologist and Jr. Hydrogeologist will be required to appear in the Examination on 12th, 13th & 14th May, 2017. And finally, the candidates who have applied for and post of Jr. Hydrologists only will be required to appear in the examination on 12th, 13th (Forenoon) and 14th May, 2017. In case of failure to attend either of the papers, the candidature of the said candidates would be rejected.
