SFI members protests against RSS- BJP agenda

New Delhi: Thousands of members of Student Federation of India (SFI) staged a protest at Jantar Mantar against Rashtriya Swayamsewal Sangh (RSS) and its student wing Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Friday here.

The members of SFI who arrived at Jantar Mantar had come from different states of India.

“We are protesting against their ideas how they have failed to prevail peace in the country, ” said Shuoot shah who had come from West Bengal for protest.

He alleged that RSS and BJP are both enemies of people who suppressed us all the time.

“As per new education policy various colleges are being forced to become autonomous because of the agenda of privatisation and commercialisation,” he added.

Another student from Kerala said that the hiding such incidents in the draft policy and its negative points, the RSS and AVBP are manufacturing incidents.”

SFI students protesting at Jantar Mantar on Friday were joined by CPI general secretary Sitaram Yechury at Jantar Mantar.
