Police registers complaint against Minister Satyender Jain for threatening a professor
Professor Ashok Arora, an author of over 100 computer science books and have more than 30 years of experience in software programming.
After seeing demo of EVM hacking in Delhi Assembly, he made a video in which, it was explained that, how an EVM cannot be hacked. EVM is a standalone computerized system in which a software program is stored in a chip. This chip is placed on the motherboard. As the stored program is in machine language, it can be only altered by the developer.
In the video, he also explained the definition of hacking and replacing of motherboard is not a hacking as claimed by CM Arvind Kejriwal, who says that the motherboard of an EVM can be changed in 90 seconds.
Hacking is actually the breaking of security system of a computerized machine in order to access the data illegally. If you replace motherboard, you are actually making a duplicate machine. So, the claim of AAP to hack EVM by changing the motherboard is not at all hacking. It is just a duplication which cannot be allowed by EC.
He posted this video on youtube, facebook and twitter and send to all his contacts through whatsapp. As Mr. Satyender Jain, minister of Delhi Govt is also in his phone contact list, the video was sent to him too as shown in the pictures.
After viewing the video, Mr Satyender Jain started taunting me and also abused to me, through Whatsapp.
Following that , I have registered a complaint against AAP MLA and Minister, Satyender Jain in Tilak Nagar police station on May 12 for threatening and abusing me, told professor Ashok Arora.
