New Delhi (15/05/2017) : AAP MLA from Burari Sanjeev Jha is sitting on hunger strike since 13th May. The distance between AAP headquarter at Rose Avenue and Jantar Mantar is about 4 Kilometres only. However the difference in opinions seems to be a reason that had made other AAP leaders unable to cover this distance in last three days.
It has been three days since AAP MLA from Burari Sanjeev Jha is sitting on hunger-strike. In these three days none of the top rank leaders have visited their MLA.
Sanjay Singh, Raghav Chaddha, Somnath Bharti, Alka Lamba, Ashutosh have all been to rose avenue in past two days, yet no-one seemed interested to visit nearby site of agitation.
This complete blackout by top leadership of AAP raises several doubts and questions.
Has Sanjeev Jha worked in haste without party’s consent to start hunger-strike against Kapil Mishra?
Sanjeev Jha is one of those 21 MLA’s who might face disqualification in on-going ‘office-of-profit’ case. Is Sanjeev looking to earn some brownie points with party Chief Arvind Kejriwal through these tactics?
It must be recalled that we had already informed our readers that on the first day of his fast when Sanjeev Jha was dodging police outside Kapil Mishra’s house and was twice detained by police, Manish Sisodia was actually enjoying a movie screening at CP, Delhi.
Let alone deputy CM or CM, even other known leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have yet remained wary of offering public support to their own MLA sitting on hunger strike.
For now we can only speculate based on facts about what is happening behind the curtains. Though the way things are heading, can of worms may explode any time.
