22 Dead in Bus-Truck Accident near Bareilly in UP

Twenty people have lost their lives and 15 others are seriously injured in a Bus-Truck collision that happened around 1:10 AM near Bareilly bypass.

The dead bodies of victims are charred beyond recognition as the Bus caught fire immediately after the collision.
The bus has left from Delhi on Sunday evening and was bound for Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh.
It was carrying 38 passengers along with two drivers and a conductor.

The cause of accident hasn’t been ascertained yet. However it has come to light that diesel tank of Bus burst after the collision which led to immediate fire, giving no chance to passengers to escape.

PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath have expressed their condolences. PM Modi also announced a compensation of Two Lakh rupees for the family of deceased and INR 50,000 for the injured’s from Prime Minister Relief Fund.
