Railway is rapidly adopting modern technology for benefits of passengers: Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister

Stating railways as the most technology enabled means of transport in the entire nation, Minister of Railways, Suresh Prabhu on Tuesday during the FICCI smart railways conclave said that Indian railways have adapted technology very quickly and also growing as most technology enabled mode of transportation in India.
Expressing satisfaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision of Digital India, Suresh Prabhu further said that, Digital India initiative provided a boost to the Indian Railways in terms of growing and upgrading it’s services for the passengers.
We aim to double the output of Indian Railways by electrification process and bring diesel usage to a minimum level, added Suresh Prabhu.
