NEET 2017 News Update: Indian Medical Association, IMA has welcomed SC order. In a report with ANI, IMA has countered the critics and suggested NEET paper to be conducted only in English. “This was the need of the day. This decision was important. But if I talk about uniformity in the examination, then it should be equal. Everyone should give paper in English. People should learn English before entering into the examination as they are going to learn medicine in English,” IMA president, K.K. Agarwal told ANI. NEET 2017 Results were stayed by Madras HC. SC, in a verdict which has been well received shared how this was a welcome development. Meanwhile, sites started suggesting the CBSE would declare NEET 2017 results today. Students and parents should note, however, that that is not possible.
SC in its order has also directed the High Courts not to entertain pleas regarding CBSE NEET 2017 examinations. As per the IANS, , Justice Pant passing the order said: “The High Court shouldn’t have easily and liberally interfered with the schedule”. Given the present update, students all over the country can now breathe ease. PTI has reported that SC has directed all High Courts to strictly refrain from entertaining these pleas as the matter can delay the admission process and affects lakhs of students.
