Summer Fiesta for kids held at Bal Bhavan

NEW DELHI : National Bal Bhavan today held its annual valedictory ceremony, Summer Fiesta, at the Bal Bhavan Centre, New Delhi.

Shri Anup Srivastava, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development was present at the occasion.

The ceremony was a culmination of the one month long summer camp that was co-hosted by Chamki, a 5 year old girl muppet from Galli Galli Sim Sim (GGSS). National Bal Bhavan invited Chamki from the popular kids show Galli Galli Sim Sim which broadcasts on Doordarshan, to share her summer vacation experiences.

Chamki and the kids had a gala time at the Summer Fiesta talking about trip to mountains, making friends, and other activities they all did during the vacation time.

The summer camp comprised of creative and engaging activities for kids including photography, musical key board, guitar, vocal music, fun with science, creative arts, clay-modelling, Bollywood dancing, calligraphy, Vedic mathematics and personality development.
