#PanamaGate: After Pak PM’s disqualification AAP bats for Panama verdict in India

NEW DELHI: After Pakistan Supreme court disqualified, Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharief over his alleged involvement in Panama gate, AAP today expressed it’s displeasure against failure of the India to take cognizance if the matter.

It’s very unfortunate that our country has not been able to start a single trial against those who have figured in the Panama papers.

“Names of 474 Indian have surfaced in the Panama leaks but not a single probe had been initiated,” AAP leader, Ashutosh said.

“Our country is considered world’s largest democracy,” he said, “But, it is really unfortunate to see that we our government is silent over the issues that toppled the government of our neighbors.”

Why has government failed to take cognizance of the matter, Ashutosh asked.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan today disqualified Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as a member of the National Assembly in Panama Papers leak case. He has been found guilty of corruption.

In a unanimous verdict, the five-judge bench said,Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is no more Sadiq and Ameen (honest and righteous). The Supreme Court also disqualified Finance Minister Ishaq Dar from office.

Defence Minister Khwaja Asif and Shahbaz Sharif are the new contenders for the post of Pakistan Prime Minister. ⁠⁠⁠⁠
