Schools cannot deny admission for lack of Aadhaar: UIDAI

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has asserted that schools can’t deny admission to students for the lack of Aadhaar, calling such rejections "invalid and not permitted under the law". In a circular addressed to the Chief Secretaries of States, UIDAI stated, "It must be ensured that no children are deprived/denied of their due benefits
