26 /11/2018: A two day National Conference, sponsored by DHE Haryana, on ‘Entrepreneurship Development – Creation of Wealth for People and Economy’ (NCEDPE-2018) has been organised by Department by Economics & Management, Aggarwal College Ballabgarh on 24th and 25th November 2018. Principal cum Patron Dr. Krishan Kant informed that the aim of organising this conference was to involve all the beneficiaries so that they can share their knowledge and experience and suggest various avenues offered by Entrepreneurship.
In the Inauguration Ceremony, Sh. Raj Nehru, Vice Chancellor, Sri Vishwakarma Skill University, Dudhola, was the Chief Guest, Dr. Vasu Dev Gupta, President Governing Body, Aggarwal College Ballabgarh was the Chair person & Dr. P. Narayan, former Prof. Central University, Karnataka, was the keynote speaker.
Dr. Krishan Kant, in his inaugural address, described the genesis and growth of the college as well as its parent body, Aggarwal Vidya Pracharni Sabha. Convener of the conference Dr. Manoj Shukla presented the theme of the conference and said that “the conference holds huge potential for all the stake holders”. He also stated that “there is an urgent need to promote and understand entrepreneurship in contemporary times”.
In her keynote address Dr. P. Narayan emphasized on four fundamentals which form the basis of entrepreneurship skills comprising Wisdom and Innovation. She also stated that “there is no height of achievement or success and that there is no failure in life until you accept it”.
Chief Guest, Mr. Raj Nehru traced the growth of SVSU which is based on developing and nurturing skills among youth. He laid emphasis on the significance of Patent and said that discoveries and innovations made by Indians thousands of years ago are being used by foreign countries in their names. He focussed on key traits for a person to be a successful entrepreneur which include – opening to new ideas, collaborating with people as it gives new perspectives.
The Inauguration Ceremony was followed by three Technical Sessions on the first day which was headed by eminent personalities like Prof. S.K. Chakravarty Ex-NIT, Kurukshetra, Mr. Amish Devgan, Mr. Vinod K. Pandita and invited talks were delivered by Dr. Archana Bhatia, CA Priyanka Garg, Mr. Hitesh Tayal & Mr. Sushil Pandit. Various oral presentations were done in two parallel sessions & various ideas were explored during the conference.
ACB Newsletter and Souvenir of the conference were also released. Special contributions in organising the event were made by Dr. Shilpa Goel, Dr. Naresh Kamra, Mr. Ram Chander, Dr. Dimple and Mr. Vineet Nagpal.
