Sohrabuddin Case: Congress thinking is to undermine institutions to grab power, Says Vijender Gupta
New Delhi: (02/01/2019) BJP on Wednesday Referred a special court’s conclusion that CBI’s inquiry into Sohrabuddin case was a plot to falsely implicate political leaders, to rebut opposition’s charge that his government was misusing investigating agencies against political opponents.
Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta said,
The Congress misused the CBI to frame BJP president Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case, he also, demanded Rahul Gandhi apology for his party’s actions.
Addressing the Media, BJP’s Leader said,
“The CBI court’s judgement in Sohrabuddin case makes a clear cut indictment of Congress for misusing CBI to fabricate evidence to implicate BJP President Amit Shah & destroy his reputation. Exonerated from the court, he stands vindicated and victorious.”
He further said, “Congress thinking is to undermine institutions to grab power. Under the UPA rule, while the terrorists had a free run, the investigative agencies were embroiled in political vendettas. The Sohrabuddin case is a textbook case of Congress’s 3rd grade politics.”
