New Delhi :Delhi Government has created another landmark in the field of education by establishing six World Class Skill Center (WCSC) with all facilities which will be launched with intake capacity of 720 as first intake in March, 2019 and 720 as Second intake in the month of August 2019.
The announcement of new WCSC was made by Delhi Deputy Cheif Minister, Manish Sisodia, during an event held on January 11 at WCSC Vivek Vihar.
The event was also joined by Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker, Ram Nivas Goel. Encouraging the government initiative, the speaker said, ” The students of skill development center are well dressed, knowledgeable and are no lesser than a hero” Niwas said as the students gathered for the event are well suited and enriched with positive appearance.
“I am proud of the students of this skill centre, it feels very good when I got to know about the 100% placement”, the speaker added.
“This is the combined outcome of students and faculty other than that Manish vision also evolved the education system in the capital” Niwas said signing off the speech.
While Manish Sisodia addressing the WSCS students said, ” Most of the students joined skill center after 12th standard and when they passed out from here, they have a job, we are also working on entrepreneurship curriculum so in future our students can also be job givers than job seekers. We at this skill centre is implementing highly professional approach to train students.”
“This is my first formal visit at Vivek Vihar WCSC, earlier I have visited several times but for information purpose” Sisodia said.
These days expensive private universities promises 100% placement but none of them keeps their promise, on the other hand WCSC, a small initiative by Delhi govt offers 100% placement.
