Lok Sabha Election 2019 Phase 4: 11.97 % voters turnout till 11 AM

With the clashes between BJP and TMC workers and several reports of EVM malfunctioning have been reported in states, including West Bengal, Odisha, and Maharashtra.

The Mamata Banerjee-led party in West Bengal has been accused of "violence and criminal intimidation" in Damra and Chittaranjan areas of Asansol Lok Sabha constituency.

Overall voter turnout in nine states has been recorded 11.97 per cent till 11 AM. Maximum 17.22 per cent votes were cast in West Bengal while lowest turnout of 6.9 per cent was recorded in Maharashtra.

As many as 72 Parliamentary constituencies spread over nine states and Kulgam district of Anantnag Lok Sabha seat in Jammu and Kashmir are going to polls in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha election.

Maximum 17 Parliamentary seats will go to polls in Maharashtra today, followed by 13 each in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
