EPSI DELEGATION MEETS HRD MINISTER SHRI RAMESH POKHARIYAL NISHANK

New Delhi : On 17th June , Dr G Vishwanathan,President, Education Promotion Society (EPSI) for India and Alternate President Dr H Chaturvedi met Shri Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank,Hon‘ble Minister of Human Resource Development, Government of India and complimented him on behalf of 300+ universities and 5000+ colleges affiliated with the EPSI.

They appraised him about deep invovement of EPSI for, protecting autonomy of higher education, deepening reforms for raising quality,access, affordability and accountability in Indian Education. Shri Nishank was very delighted to know about the 15 years contribution of EPSI in Indian education. He promised that before finalising the New Education Policy, final opinion of EPSI will be taken by MHRD.

They also informed him that EPSI has contributed in formulation of the Draft New Education Policy by meeting Kasturirangan Committee & TSR Subrahmanyam Committee and submitted them our suggestions through memorandum.

On June 18 EPSI has organised a Roundtable of eminent educationists at Jacranda Hall,India Habitet Centre,New Delhi. It will start at 4.30 pm.Four eminent members of EPSI, recently elected to Lok Sabha from,TN,AP and Odisha will also be felicitated.
