New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ has reached the Parliament of Democracy as well. There was a sight to see such a scenario in Parliament on Saturday which have never been seen before. Indeed, in the Parliament premises, the BJP’s veteran minister and MP himself came to clean the premises with a broom.
The Swachh Campaign was organized under the leadership of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. BJP MP from Mathura Hema Malini and BJP MP from Hamirpur and Union Minister of State Anurag Thakur took part in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan cleanliness drive to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at parliament House on Saturday.
Later, Hema Malini appreciated the Speaker of the House for having taken this initiative to carry out a “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” on the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on the Parliament premises.
“I will go back to Mathura next week and carry out this Abhiyan there as well,” she said,
