New Delhi : Congress leader Manish Tewari today lashed out at the government using the recently said words of NITI Aayog’s Vice President Rajiv Kumar which were regarding the fall in Indian economy!
Few hours before, Rajiv Kumar has said the ongoing financial crisis in India is “unprecedented”. He also added that the government must take steps to handle the ongoing economic fall. He targeted implementation of initiatives like demonetisation, Goods and Service Tax and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code for such change in entire economic situation.
Manish also added BJP and NDA government would like to believe that this is all because of past leaders like Jwaharlal Nehru but they should know that the past 5 years of BJP’s governance is the only reason to such situation!”
In his statement, Rajiv Kumar said, “India was facing such an economic downturn for the first time in past 70 years. Liquidity crisis wherein lenders had stopped funding businesses, resulting in a situation where they had to survive on cash.”
