Aamir Khan eager to watch performances of actors in ‘The Sky Is Pink’
New Delhi: After watching the trailer of the upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is quite eager to watch performances of Priyanka Chopra, Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar. He even appreciated The Sky Is Pink director Shonali Bose for the film.
The actor took to social media to share a heartfelt note for the team and praising the film’s director Shonali Bose, the actor wrote, “Looks like Shonali has made another fantastic film.”
The Dangal actor also feels that Priyanka, Farhan Akhtar, and Zaira Wasim’s performances will “wow” the audience. He even wished Siddharth Roy Kapur, one of the producers of the film, for his first independent film. The actor even shared the youtube link for the film trailer along with the caption on his Twitter handle.
He wrote, “I really liked this trailer. Can’t wait to see the movie. Looks like Shonali has made another fantastic film. I am sure Priyanka, Farhan and Zaira’s performances in the film will wow us. Sid, wishing you the best for your first independent film!”

The film was recently released at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday and had received quite positive reviews.
With this film, actor Priyanka is making a comeback to Hindi film industry, after a long break of three years with her upcoming film ‘The Sky Is Pink’. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film cast also includes Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf. The film is based on the real life of a motivational speaker, Aisha Chaudhary, who suffered an immune deficiency at the age of 13. It also sheds light on the love story of her parents. The role of the parents will be played by Priyanka and Farhan and Zaira will be seen as Aisha Chaudhary. The film is scheduled to release on October 11, 2019.
