New Delhi (06/10/2019): Climatic changes are taking place in Asian subcontinents due to the ill treatment that we are giving to our mother nature.
It is rightly said that India is becoming a popular nation because of its power and energetic youth along with visionary leaders, but, India is also getting highlighted in international news pieces due to the bad contribution to mother nature.
70-80 young and energetic people today performed a silent protest at Jantar Mantar so as to knock down the locks that the government have at its ears whenever called for declaring climatic emergencies. These people were from different professions and some of them were working as interns in India.
Speaking to Ten News, a girl named Kavya said, ‘India has to admit its bad contribution towards mother nature and should take severe actions at a very fast rates as even science says, if deforestation and polution keeps on booming with the same rate, the beautiful earth will reach its end soon.’
This summer in Chennai, the locals were praying for some rain and on the other hand in Mumbai, people were reeling under a deluge.
Long ago, these extreme disparities may have been solely blamed on nature’s vagaries, but now science has established that human-induced climate change is playing a major role. Climate change, caused by emissions from industries and other human activity, is making the world warmer, disrupting rainfall patterns and increasing the frequency of extreme weather events. No country is immune to these forces, but India is particularly vulnerable.
