Kejriwal demands Housing Registration for residents of all Unauthorised Colonies

New Delhi (27/11/2019): Today at a press conference at Delhi Secretariat held by Arvind Kejriwal, the CM stated, “Delhi is the National Capital and the residents of Delhi are continuously searching for jobs to move ahed in life. In the past 3-4 decades, Delhi has seen a heavy migration of people from other states and that has affected the responsibility of DDA, which was to allot cheap flats to delhiites.”
During the conference, CM Kejriwal said that he came across few reports stating that the Centre was planning to give conveyance deeds to only 100-500 people before the elections.
The CM thus demanded the Centre to give housing registration papers to all residents of unauthorised colonies before the assembly elections in the city due early next year.
He also demanded that the registration papers should be given to residents of these colonies within three days of filing application for the same.
