Senior BJP leader and party spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain on Sunday said that his party was hopeful of finding an early resolution of the ongoing farmer stir.
“BJP hopeful of early resolution of farm agitation; party has full sympathy with farmers,” Hussain was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Meanwhile, in a related development NCP chief Sharad Pawar scheduled to meet President Ram Nath Kovind on December 9 over ongoing farmers’ protest against agri laws.
“I hope wisdom dawns on the government and it takes cognisance of the farmers’ protests to resolve the issue. If this stalemate continues, the protest will not be limited to Delhi, but people from across the country will stand by the protesting farmers,” Pawar said.
