CSIR-NISTADS & CSIR-NISCAIR to co-host a policy dialogue on “Covid-19 Vaccine from Self-Reliance to Global Leadership”
On the occasion of National Science Day, CSIR-NISTADS and CSIR-NISCAIR is organising a policy dialogue on “Covid-19 Vaccine from Self-Reliance to Global Leadership: Opportunities, Challenges and Policy Imperatives in Covid Era” on 1st March 2021 at 2PM to 4PM through online mode.
It provides a platform to young students, researchers, scientists and technocrats for exchange of knowledge and ideas to encourage innovations for the betterment of society during ongoing pandemic. CSIR-NISTADS and CSIR-NISCAIR are actively engaged in organising lecture series, seminars/meetings as well as publication and dissemination of special issue and popular articles on issues related to COVID-19 Pandemic. Currently this event is being organised to have a policy discourse from eminent personalities on the journey of indigenous development of COVID-19 vaccine in the midst of pandemic. It intends to focus on the opportunities available, the challenges faced and the policy imperatives for a way forward to become global leader not only in COVID-19 vaccine but also in vaccines in general.
The invitation is open for active participation of all academicians, young researchers, professionals, students and NGO’s. etc. This half-day policy discourse is on the various perspectives from the experts on the vaccine development and to learn future lessons in vaccine production, supply and distribution.
