NRI doctors write to PM Modi demanding emergency authorization of proven medical protocols to combat Covid

At a time when the country is reeling under a fierce second wave of Covid-19, concerned stakeholders from all parts of the world are stepping forward to help India fight the menace of Covid-19.
And trying to do their bit in these troubled times is a group of NRI doctors have written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recommending a slew of measures that can actually help in saving the lives of many thousand Indians.
The first and foremost thing that the group has recommended is the usage of Monoclonal Antibody (MAB) treatment.
“The MAB treatment is given in the form of an intravenous injection otherwise called infusion over 30 minutes and it can be done in the outpatient setting. Patients typically get relief of severe symptoms immediately,” they have pointed in their letter, along with sharing its technical and medical details.
Moreover, they have sought permission to train medical teams in India using their successful protocols of combining early intervention utilizing drugs that block the progression of Covid due to the deadly cytokine storm phase with these monoclonal antibodies.
For making a state of art treatment available in India, the group also proposes to make use of the armed forces to setup field hospitals that can help the common citizens of the country.
