#Delhi University to start new session on July 21

Delhi University has announced that its new session will begin on July 21 as scheduled.

A statement from the registrar’s office read “University of Delhi wishes to reassure students and faculty alike that the university shall reopen in full measure on July 21 2014.”

The day before the statement of the DU administration was issued, uncertainty prevailed with speculations of delay in start of the academic session because of the changes in undergraduate structure and the need for statutory ratification. The principals of DU colleges convened a general body meeting on Tuesday to discuss the crisis.
