A final decision to taken by the DoPT on the Civil Services Examination 2014, scheduled for August 24, shortly.

Minister of state for personnel Jitendra Singh on Tuesday appealed to civil services aspirants agitating against the revised pattern and syllabus for Civil Services Examination to end their indefinite fast, stating that the government had asked the Arvind Verma committee, which is examining the issue, to expeditiously submit its report.

The report, now expected within a week or less, will be examined along with opinion of the UPSC, which conducts the Civil Services Exam, and a final decision taken by the DoPT on the Civil Services Examination 2014, scheduled for August 24, shortly.
