Group Landmark partners with BYD for EV Passenger Vehicle sales in Delhi NCR & Greater Mumbai

Ahmedabad, 27th December, 2021: Group Landmark has ventured into the EV Segment following its recent business association with global automotive brand BYD. BYD is the 4th largest EV manufacturer in the world. The group currently has 113 outlets Pan India for OEMs such as Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Jeep, Volkswagen and Renault.

 

BYD India, a subsidiary of the Chinese Electric Carmaker BYD (Build Your Dreams), launched its E6 all electric MPV only for commercial purposes, early November at a price of Rs 29.15 lakh. The five seater MPV has been tuned more for efficiency, it has a 71.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery that provides 95hp and has a top speed of 130 km/hr with a WLTC (city) range of 520km and a WLTC (combined) range of 415km for just a single charge. It supports both AC and DC fast charging which can support a DC fast charging from 30% to 80% within 35 minutes.

As on date, Group Landmark expanded to 113 Outlets across 32 cities in 8 states. It focuses on new vehicle sales, pre-owned passenger vehicle sales, aftersales service and spares and facilitating sale of third party financial and insurance products.

 

India’s Electric Vehicle market has transformed dramatically in recent years and the consumers’ interest in purchasing Electric Vehicles has skyrocketed. Nationwide EV sales are soaring, with 42,055 units sold in November 2021, representing an increase of 8.7% m-o-m and a 227% rise y-o-y. For the first time, the number of Electric Vehicle registrations has surpassed the 40,000 mark in a month.
