New Delhi (16/01/2022): Delhi’s Covid-19 count is on a constant decrease and there are much less hospitalization and deaths as compared to Delta wave, said Delhi’s health minister Satyendar Jain on Sunday.

Speaking to reporters he said, “Cases have started reducing for past 3 days, but we will look at a substantial decrease for the next 3-4 days. Positivity rate will reduce with time as patients admitted to hospitals are stagnant. Most of the deaths were due to comorbidities.”

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain also cleared air on speculations of less testing.

“Less testing doesn’t mean fewer #COVID19 cases. Mild, asymptomatic, or high-risk contact cases, everyone gets tested. We’re conducting 3 times more tests than required by the ICMR guidelines,” he stated.
