UP polls sixth phase: 46.70% voter turnout recorded till 3 pm

March 3, Uttar Pradesh: According to the election commission of India, A voter turnout of 46.70 per cent till 3 pm was recorded in the sixth phase of UP assembly polls.

The highest voter turnout of 52.40% was in Ambedkarnagar followed by 48.49% in Kushinagar, 46.49% in Basti & 46.48% in Ballia

In Gorakhpur, the home district of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath the voter turnout of 46.44% was recorded.
The lowest voter turnout has been recorded in Balrampur at 42.67%

In Siddharthnagar & Sant kabir nagar the voter turnout of 45.33% & 44.67% was being recorded.
Maharajganj recorded voter turnout of 47.54% where as in Kushinagar 48.49% voter turnout was recorded.

Polling for the sixth phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly polls are underway for 57 Assembly constituencies spread across 10 districts & will be concluded at 6 pm.

676 candidates are in the fray in sixth phase of UP assembly polls including CM Yogi Adityanath as the prominent candidtates.
