New Delhi, 15 April 2022: Former Jammu & Kashmir Governor and Current Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik has sternly stated that he is not afraid to leave his post for raising his voice in support of the farmers and issues they face.
He in the past has criticised the central government and Prime MInister Narendra Modi for the way they managed the farmer’s protest in New Delhi.
“I am fundamentally a farmer. My political training happened under (former prime minister) Chaudhary Charan Singh and he had told me that if you have to leave anything for the farmers, leave, but fight for them and raise their voice,” Malik stated.
He also claims that he can take on the people at the Centre as “he will not have a home after his retirement.”
