Rajinder Nagar will never accept a BJP candidate who abuses and exploits Dalits: Sanjay Singh
NEW DELHI: AAP Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh addressed a massive Jansabha in Rajinder Nagar today. He said that he is confident that BJP is destined to lose twice as hard as it did last time at the hands of AAP. Shri Sanjay Singh said, “Rajinder Nagar will never accept a BJP candidate who abuses and exploits Dalits. On one side BJP exploits the Dalits, on the other, AAP teaches Babasaheb’s constitution in its schools. BJP frames AAP leaders in fake cases to disrupt Delhi’s development but the Kejriwal Government doesn’t let progress get hindered. Delhi & Punjab have swept the opposition clean by voting for AAP; BJP-Congress set to meet the same fate in Rajinder Nagar too.” AAP MLA Candidate Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “Vote for the Kejriwal Model of Development; big or small AAP will rid Rajinder Nagar of all its problems. For every vote cast for AAP, I will commit my personal guarantee to solve every problem of Rajinder Nagar.”
AAP Senior Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh said, “Shri Arvind Kejriwal has been at the helm of power in Delhi for the past 7.5-8 years. His government stands on your vote and support. When we started a movement against corruption under the leadership of Shri Anna Hazare, we got support from every corner of the country. Even the children took to the street with a demand to have a strong law against corruption which doesn’t spare even ministers or the rich. They should be sent to prison if found guilty, but BJP and Congress consider corruption as their fundamental right. These parties ensured that a strong law could not pass to eliminate corruption and instead challenged us to enter the Parliament and Legislative Assemblies to make such a law. BJP even challenged us to fight an election and tried to belittle us by saying that we wouldn’t be able to even save our security deposit. AAP decided to fight the 2013 Delhi elections where BJP tried to mock us and the people who supported us. To their shock, AAP won 28 seats and went on to form the government. They laughed at you but the world was watching you as you supported Shri Arvind Kejriwal. You swept the BJP and Congress with Jhaadu.”
He said, “In the 2015 elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing a gathering in the Ramleela Maidan where he said that Shri Arvind Kejriwal is very unlucky. You should send him to exile and vote for us. He was riding on the winning spree of 2014 General elections, Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand Assembly elections. He seemed unstoppable but I warned them the same day to be cautious and respectful of the fact that we live in a democracy where the public is supreme and decide who becomes MP & MLA and who goes to exile. It turned out that people gave 67 seats to AAP and 3 seats to BJP. The common man and the poor gave a fitting reply to Modiji by making BJP a scooter party which now lives in exile.”
He said, “Congress on the other hand got zero seats. People asked me what happened to Congress in the 2020 elections to which I replied that they didn’t lose anything as they had zero seats in both elections. In those elections, there were attempts made to disturb the communal harmony because the opposition did not have an answer to our politics of welfare where we talked about electricity, water, education, healthcare and roads. Home Minister Amit Shah only remained stuck to and kept repeating “Shaheen Bhag” all the time to which the people of Delhi replied “Chal Bhaag, Chal Bhaag”. AAP won 62 seats and in the recently held Punjab elections fought under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Sardar Bhagwant Mann, we got monumental results because the common man swept the other parties with Jhaadu. AAP won 92 seats and the sitting CM of Punjab was defeated by a person who used to work at a mobile repairing shop. This is your strength, your victory. This is the power of votes in a democracy.”
He continued, “The eyes of the entire nation are on you as to what will be the mandate of the people in the Rajinder Nagar by-elections. On one hand, there is Shri Arvind Kejriwal who ensured quality education for your children, provided 200 units of free electricity to every household and 400 units at 50% concession, supplied free water, and built mohalla clinics. While on the other hand, there is BJP which only knows how to bulldoze the houses in the slums. Shri Arvind Kejriwal also hiked the pension to the elderly by two or three-fold and also runs a scheme of sending them to Teerth Yatra. He also brought the Farishtey Scheme where if someone is met with an accident, people passing by or even their relatives can take them to the hospital and the Delhi government will bear the expense of the treatment even if it is over 50 lakhs.”
He added, “We have transformed the government schools in Delhi to an extent that when US President Donald Trump’s wife and First lady Melina Trump visited India, she wanted to see a school built by Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Shri Manish Sisodia. When Shri Arvind Kejriwal used to inspect government schools back in 2015, they were full of spider webs. There were no toilet facilities but today, there are air-conditioned rooms, swimming pools, and athletic grounds to ensure their overall development. Our teachers receive training from foreign countries. They have outperformed private schools in 12th Board for the past five years.”
He continued, “BJP cannot do anything to stop people with a progressive mindset like Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Shri Satyendar Jain. Hence, they put ED, CBI and Income Tax department behind them. They arrested 34 MLAs at once so that they could disrupt the functioning of the government and in turn, your welfare.”
Shri Sanjay Singh said, “The BJP workers are going around threatening people that if you vote for AAP on June 23, then we will get the bulldozer to raze your house. I assure you that each and every worker of AAP will stand in front of the bulldozer and we will make it go away from here. We will not let the BJP run their bulldozers over poor people. No AAP worker will allow this to happen. The bulldozer should be run over corrupt people and not over poor people. Over here in Delhi, we have the Kejriwal Government and we will not let the BJP threaten poor people here with the bulldozer. This is the reason, this by-election is even more important and I urge people to vote for AAP and ensure that the BJP candidate loses his deposit on June 23.”
He added, “Beware the people from the BJP as they will come here now just before the by-election and will try to create rift on the basis of Hindu-Muslim. They will never do any work for the residents here. I recently watched a video of the BJP candidate for Rajinder Nagar, Rajesh Bhatia. In it, he was using abusive language against a Dalit person. Do you want such a candidate here in Rajinder Nagar who insults the Dalit community? It has been 75 years since Independence and several governments of different political parties have come and gone. But it has only been the Kejriwal Government that has decided to teach the Constitution that was drafted by Babasaheb Ambedkar in the schools of Delhi. No other government until now had done this. Teach a lesson to those who had called Shri Arvind Kejriwal a ‘terrorist’ and a ‘Khalistani’. Teach a lesson to those who have always attacked honest workers of the Aam Aadmi Party. This is why on June 23, the people here need to vote for the AAP candidate Durgesh Pathak and teach a lesson to the BJP and other parties.”
He concluded, “AAP candidate Durgesh Pathak will be such a person who you can call anytime and raise your matters and complaints, he will be available for the public 24/7. That is why it is important that you vote for him on June 23 and ensure that he wins big in the Rajinder Nagar constituency. He is one amongst you and resides in H Block in this constituency. Whatever problems you face – and these can be any issues, regarding roads, electricity, or water – he will work earnestly and find solutions to your issues. The AAP won 62 seats in the Assembly elections in Delhi, and after that, we won the state of Punjab. Now, the people in Rajinder Nagar have to show to the rest of the country that you have complete faith in the Kejriwal Government and that is why on June 23, you have to vote for Durgesh Pathak.”
Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “The coming by-polls are very important for Rajinder Nagar. I am a politician who can deliver a fiery speech. I am a common man. I only know how to interact with people. I just have a couple of requests and appeals for the voters of Rajinder Nagar. Today if you talk to even a staunch hater of the AAP, they immediately say that everything is said and done but the Kejriwal Government has done a lot of work in Delhi. Before 2015, there was a saying in Delhi that no matter how bad your enmity is with someone, you wouldn’t let them put their child in a government school. Those schools didn’t have teachers, benches, books or toilets. There wasn’t any atmosphere for education. In just 6 years, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal transformed Delhi’s schools to an extent that 4.5 lac students exited private schools and joined government schools. The story of government hospitals too is exactly the same. No one willingly entered a government hospital before AAP came to power. But today these hospitals and AAP’s Mohalla Clinics have become the first choice of Delhiites.”
Shri Pathak continued, “Everyone knows Delhi by its education & healthcare systems today. It has all been made possible because of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. This is why I ask, don’t you think the CM Arvind Kejriwal’s candidate deserves to be your first choice too. If Punjab could get inspired by Delhi and choose AAP what stops Rajinder Nagar? I guarantee every single resident that I will work day and night and ensure Rajinder Nagar gets developed faster than anywhere else. I commit to everyone that if you take the responsibility to vote for AAP, I will personally take the responsibility to rid you of all your woes.”
