New Delhi, July 9, 2022: Exhibition Showcase on Friday hosted the 6th Exhibition Excellence Awards, 2022 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida to recognize and honour the industry stalwarts in 3 categories – exhibition organizers, exhibition venues and service providers
At the event, Naveen Seth, the Assistant Secretary-General of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in conversation with Ten News, talked about the future prospects of the exhibition industry after the challenging pandemic years.
“Exhibitions have always been supporting the economy and this is the right time to jump back,” Seth said. “The industry is already ready and geared up to come back in a very proper way,” he added.
Seth also highlighted some of the new trends and technological advancements in the exhibition industry. “The pandemic has taught us a lot of things,” he stated. “Hybrid is one of the things. Now sitting here we can connect with anybody in the world,” he elaborated. “There are new ways of showing things,” he said regarding new technologies, like AI Technology.” He also talked about the Make in India initiative launched by our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Everybody now has to start working on those lines and we have to show to the world what India can offer through the technology.”
In response to the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2022, Naveen Seth said, “Once you are patted for the good work that you have done, you feel motivated. Everybody had been sitting home, now getting an award at this time gives you more motivation to do active work.”
