KEJRIWAL IS SYMBOL OF OPPORTUNISM IN POLITICS -UPADHYAY

BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay has said that Aam Aadmi Party and its convenor Arvind Kejriwal has become symbol of political opportunism.

He said that the silence of Shri Kejriwal on the Saharanpur riots is clearly an example of opportunism.  When ever riots happened in any part of the country Shri Kejriwal used to put on various types of caps and went to find out his political advantage.  The silence of Shri Kejriwal and MPs of his party from Punjab on the murder of innocent Sikhs in Saharanpur and loot of their property shows where his political interest are connected and this is the reason why he is betraying the Sikh community which had strongly supported him in the past.

Today Shri Kejriwal completely failed in his attempt to mislead the auto drivers in Ramlila Maidan because hardly 2500 to 3000 auto drivers reached Ramlila Maidan even after long publicity.

Shri Upadhyay said that if Kejriwal desired he could have framed a logical policy for auto drivers during his tenure and provided relief to them from the corruption of the police and could make them independent with the help of government subsidy.  At that time he was busy in organizing the Darbars and now he is again remembering the auto drivers to save his shrinking public support.

He further said that before coming to power Shri Kejriwal used to call Congressmen as corrupt persons and after some time he came to power with their help and again today when we was vacating government accommodation from Delhi he said that he had to resign due to Congress party.  In such situation it is difficult to understand his relationship with Congress party because he had taken the support of Congress party and after that he resigned.  Recently he has been again talking about forming government and now he is blaming the Congress party.  The people of Delhi think that there is some secret understanding between Congress and Shri Kejriwal.

Pradesh President said that today the people of Delhi witnessed an example of opportunism of Shri Kejriwal when he announced support for Civil Services aspirants.  These students were agitating for the last two years but Shri Kejriwal did not take care of these aspirants during his tenure as Chief Minister.  When Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh is himself trying to get the demands of these candidates accepted by the government then Shri Kejriwal’s support to them exposes his hypocrisy.
