Mumbai (India), 6th April 2023: Dasara, a pan-Indian film starring Telugu actor Nani, has been a hit at the box office. The film, which debuted on March 30, earned more than Rs 100 crore (gross) globally.
The film’s creators and the main actor shared the news on social media.
While the film’s production company, SLV Cinemas, was happy to witness Dharani (Nani’s character) destroy the box office with “rage,” the 39-year-old actor thanked the crowd for their support.
The period action drama, which received mixed to positive reviews, entered the Rs 100 crore club in just six days after its release.
The film’s production company stated in a news release, “In just six days since its release, ‘Dasara’ has entered the Rs 100 crore club. This is Nani’s first movie to achieve this milestone. The movie has not only made its mark in the domestic market but also in overseas markets, especially in the USA where it is close to reaching $2 million.”
The movie was released in five languages namely, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
