New Delhi (India), 8th April 2023: Pushpa: The Rule, the sequel to the Pushpa franchise, would feature actor Allu Arjun reprising his role as Pushpa Raj. The first Pushpa 2 poster was unveiled by the production team the day before the actor’s birthday.
Arjun is seen in the billboard with an intense expression and a totally different avatar. He has a saree on and is wearing gold jewellery. The focus instantly turns to the lemon wreath he is wearing along with the jewellery. He does, however, have a revolver in one hand and is staring intently into the camera.
The actor shared the poster on Twitter and wrote, “#Pushpa2TheRule Begins!!!” In a teaser for Pushpa: The Rule, Pushpa Raj’s escape from Tirupathi prison was depicted. Although it was initially believed that the police had killed him, additional footage reveals that he was actually hiding in a forest.
Pushpa: The Rise, the first movie in the series, was a huge hit all throughout the nation. It told the tale of a daily labourer’s ascent in the world of red sandalwood smuggling. It was directed by Sukumar and featured Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in key roles. This year, the franchise’s second movie will be released in theatres.
