New Delhi, 12th May 2023: The Delhi government removed the Services Secretary Ashish More hours after the SC verdict in favour of the city government on controlling services.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal further assured that there will be a massive administrative overhaul over the next few days.
This comes after the Supreme Court read out a unanimous verdict in favour of the Delhi SC and ruled that the Delhi government has legislative and executive powers over services except for public order, police and land.
CM Kejriwal spoke about the battles his government was facing for the past 8 years, termed the victory to be a ‘victory of democracy’, and further warned the officers who had obstructed public work of severe consequences.
