PM Narendra Modi will visit Hiroshima, Japan, from May 19 to 21, to attend the Summit hosted by Japan under their Presidency of the G7.
The Prime Minister will speak at numerous sessions alongside partner countries at the G-7 Summit, concentrating on critical subjects like as promoting peace, stability, and long-term prosperity for the planet.

In addition, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral talks with various Summit participants. Following his visit to Japan, he will travel to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, to co-host the third Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC III Summit) on May 22 with Papua New Guinea Prime Minister James Marape.
As the current president of the Group of Seven (G-7), Japan intends to take the lead in organising G-7 ministerial debates on climate, energy, and the environment.
The emphasis is on expanding decarbonisation initiatives while preserving energy supply stability, particularly in view of Ukraine’s current conflict with Russia.
