Mumbai (India), 20th May 2023: On Saturday, the creators of Adipurush released the first song from the film, Jai Shri Ram, following the release of the trailer. The song depicts Raghav’s (Prabhas) journey as he prepares for the battle to reclaim his lover Janaki (Kriti Sanon).
The video includes war preparation moments as well as breathtaking pictures of Kriti Sanon longing for Raghav’s arrival. Om Raut’s Ramayana-inspired film Adipurush stars Prabhas as Raghav or Ram, Kriti Sanon as Janaki or Sita, Sunny Singh as Shesh or Lakshman, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. Saif Ali Khan plays the antagonist Lankesh in the film.
The song’s music was created by the composer duo Ajay – Atul, and the lyrics were written by Manoj Muntashir. The song is now available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

On June 13, the film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. On June 16, this year, the magnum opus will be released in IMAX and 3D venues. Om Raut directed the film, and will be produced by Retrophiles’ Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair.
