New Delhi, 13th June 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave around 70,000 appointment letters to newly enlisted recruits on June 13th. The distribution took place through video conferencing around 10.30 am, with the Prime Minister also speaking to the appointees.
The Rozgar Mela was hosted in 43 sites across the country at the same time, with recruitments being undertaken in collaboration with Central Government Departments, State Governments, and Union Territories.
PM Modi stated at the preceding Rozgar Mela, which took place in April, “Startups have created more than 40 lakh direct and indirect jobs; this shows India’s resilient startup culture.”
He had also stated, “Today India is the fastest-growing economy in the world. The policy and strategy being followed by today’s New India have opened up new possibilities and opportunities in the country.”
The new recruits will be working in departments such as Financial Services, Posts, School Education, Higher Education, Defence, Revenue, Health and Family Welfare, Atomic Energy, Railways, Audit and Accounts, and Home Affairs, among others.
The Rozgar Mela seeks to empower younger generation and give them significant chances to contribute to the growth of the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has often emphasised the significance of job creation, and this event is an important step in that direction.
The government aggressively promotes youth empowerment and participation in national development by easing the recruitment process and creating new job opportunities.
The distribution of 70,000 appointment letters at the government-organised Rozgar Mela is a big step forward in the fight for job creation. The Rozgar Mela will serve as a catalyst for job creation and will provide real opportunities for young participation in national development and empowerment.
